Qualifications and responsibilities for this Field Civil Engineer, PE position include:

• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of field-focused civil engineering experience, with proficiency in ADA/Tx Accessibility Standards (TAS)/PROWAG compliance.
• Conduct daily site visits (50-75% travel) to oversee construction activities and ensure ADA and traffic control compliance. (company vehicle provided)
• Perform project scoping walkthroughs and prepare schematic plans, cost estimates, and permits.
• Coordinate with city project managers, general contractors, and stakeholders to maintain project objectives.
• Capture and document daily construction progress using technology tools.
• Schedule inspections, address punch list items, and verify final project accuracy against specifications.
• Opportunities to transition to office-based civil design roles post-construction project completion.

Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
