The Role
The Workplace Investing (WI) Platform technology group within Fidelity Investments is responsible for the development and maintenance of technology solutions supporting Fidelity's Defined Contribution (DC) business. The DC plan administration record keeping services platform serves plan sponsors in the configuration of their DC plans and operates in a mixed-technology environment (.NET, Java, Spring, Angular, Oracle) across multiple tiers (web server, app server, DB).
The Team
This group is looking for a .NET Software Engineer at its Smithfield, Rhode Island site to join its dynamic, globally distributed team of IT professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of Fidelity's DC plan administration record keeping services platform.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology preferred
- Proficiency with C# and/or VB.NET, .NET Framework and SQL Server
- Proficiency with multi-tier application development, web-based application using ASP.Net MVC
- Experience with SQL scripts/stored procedures and relational database
- Experience with Team Foundation Server, Github and Jenkins
- Deep knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies
- Good interpersonal skills, strong organization skills, and ability to multi-task
- Experience with C++ would be helpful
- VBScript would be a plus along with Javascript, JSON, XML, Powershell scripts
