Salary Range: $41.9200 - $69.1600 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Manager will support the Executive Director of Advancement Services at the Hoag Hospital Foundation by overseeing and executing complex projects related to data, business process, and information delivery services. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful implementation of the foundation’s strategic initiatives. The Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and other stakeholders to drive success, manage lifecycles, and contribute to the overall operational excellence of the foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Execution:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resources, to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s strategic goals and objectives.
Support & Development:
- Support the ED with the establishment and development of the new Project Management Office (PMO), including contributing to the creation of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards and best practices and assist in the continuous improvement of project management processes.
Stakeholder Communication & Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including the Executive Director, IT teams, and other departments.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to gather requirements and address concerns
Risk Management & Problem Solvin
- Identify potential risks and issues, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them.
- Resolve project-related problems and conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines and deliverables.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from completed projects.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in project management, and apply this knowledge to enhance delivery and outcomes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing moderate to complex projects in a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Experience working in advancement services, nonprofits, or similar field
- Experience supporting or working within a Project Management Office (PMO) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, team members, and external partners.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
