team for the role of Fashion Stylist

2.7 August Apparel is an American fast-fashion clothing company that offers B2B

services, from design to manufacturing and wholesale. We started our business in

2011 and opened the first wholesale store in the Los Angeles fashion district. We offer multi-brands like Endless rose, English factory, Grey Lab, and Free the Roses. We offer our consumers well-designed and valued fashion goods, which helps our business succeed.

Short Description:

The Stylist is responsible for creating on-brand outfits for e-commerce, campaigns, and other creative initiatives.

Duties / Responsibilities:

· Pre-style, organize and prep all garments and accessories to ensure photo-ready items.

· They will partner with photographers on set to ensure each outfit is best represented online according to the style guidelines.

· The Stylist should be passionate about the brand’s identity and aware of current trends within fashion and interpret those through the lens of the brand.

· They should be comfortable executing e-commerce outfitting with high attention to detail, collaborating in a fast-paced on-set environment, and bringing a unique perspective to the team.

· Create and execute inspiring, on-brand, and on-trend looks for the women’s e-commerce channel daily.

· Prepare to review looks with the creative director before shooting and review prior weeks of imagery as a team, giving collaborative feedback.

· Work with Sample Coordinators to ensure all clothing is delivered on time and present in the studio for shoots, creating and maintaining an organized flow for outfits to be shot.

· Review PO images and Merchandising notes prior to photoshoots to ensure end use for the product.

· Demonstrate proper techniques for styling and preparation of merchandise to minimize damages.

· Assist models on and off set, ensuring all garments are prepared for shooting.

· Manage time on set to meet the daily shot count goals while maintaining high styling standards.

· Work effectively with photographers, models, and other team members to produce high-caliber results.

· Contribute to the organization of the studio space and sample process.

· Follow the seasonal styling guide to translate styling trends to e-commerce-friendly looks to showcase seasonal focuses and buying investments.

· Review current brand sales information takeaways and apply to relevant e-comm sets.

· Update daily and seasonal styling guides with Merchandising & Marketing direction to translate how styling should be executed on set.

· Research and stay on top of current and emerging trends.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Associate degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Photography, or other Visual Communications Arts.

· 2+ years of experience working with Hair and Makeup Artists, Photographers, and creative directors, fashion designers.

· The Stylist should have a strong creative eye, creative problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic, time management, attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to feedback.

· 2+ years of on-set styling experience and understanding of studio environments.

· Styling portfolio

· Proficient in Gmail and Google Drive

· You should be extremely knowledgeable about our target market.

· Strong understanding of the studio environment and the collaboration of roles within

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills

· Ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadlines.

· Ability to recognize current trends and forecast emerging and upcoming trends.

· Anticipate and resolve creative challenges using appropriate resources and/or solutions.

· Strong understanding of the company brands and customer

· Ability to contribute to positive team morale.

· Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills.

· Ability and desire to work with a team as well as independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
