Job Summary:
The Farm Maintenance role is to ensure the upkeep, daily maintenance and productivity of the farm.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of farms to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Mowing, weed eating, pruning, and landscape maintenance as needed
- General equipment maintenance
- Chemical application
- Perform related duties as required
- Required to load, unload, and move coffee bags weighing more than 55lbs.
- Willing to learn new skills

- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in teams and independently
- Must keep track of coffee inventory; including receiving, storage, pulping and drying
- Weigh parchment coffee, pack, sew and stow coffee bags
- Support with the identification of coffee lots and quality
- Provide support with monthly and annual physical inventories
- Check and ensure that Warehouse areas are clean and tidy before operations start, during and after the work shift
- Responsible for the correct use of machinery, equipment and work tools
- Report any adjustment or failure that may occur during the production process and that endangers the physical integrity of the personnel, the production process and/or the machinery and equipment to management
- Assist with maintenance and repair work as required
**Follow all company procedures and policies, especially with respect to Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)**
Education, Experience and Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years basic farm or maintenance experience
- Basic math concepts
- Knowledge of Food Safety Regulations
- Good interpretive and/or reactive skills
- Forklift experience a plus.
****Must maintain excellent attendance and work overtime and weekends****

Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
