The facilitator will deliver engaging and entertaining online sessions to families on weight management that will encourage families to attend every week for 12 weeks.
The facilitator will need to deliver an all-round customer experience with a good understanding of the real-life barriers families face in meeting WM goals.
The facilitator will act as a bridge between online families and their communities to ensure families have the support and community needed to be successful in their weight management journey.

• Support the nutritionist to deliver energetic and engaging remote healthy lifestyle/weight management sessions to children and families weekly.
• Provide and develop an excellent family friendly customer journey using communication though phone, email, WhatsApp and some instances face to face.
• Work with the team to empower families to take on healthy lifestyles and behaviour effectively by understanding their individual context and needs and supporting them to change behaviours.
• Be responsible for any allocated case note recording and contribute to case reports/data input using our simple online data system.
• Have excellent area knowledge and signpost families to supportive services when needs unmet by the program are identified
• Develop relationships with local groups and clubs, and community services to advocate and promote our programmes.
• Work alongside nutritionist, behaviour change experts, contract managers and wellbeing advisors to help develop and evolve our programmes and to contribute to the wider company vision.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree / Level 4 Qualification in Community, Education, Child Development, Health, Youth or Social care or equivalent experience.
• Worked with children and/or young people, for example as a sports coach or youth worker. (Essential)
• Experience of delivering fun, high energy, 'real' group sessions with families or children/young people
• Experience of having real conversations with families to understand their world and being able to help identify support to help families thrive.
• Experience of working with families that are often underserved.
• Have an interest in health and/or working with children.

• IT literate especially working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritise workload, anticipate needs and work on own initiative and as part of a high functioning team.
• Is professional at all times and ensures safe confidentiality & safeguarding are at the forefront of the day to day work. (Training provided)
• Able to carry out your roles and responsibilities well whilst holding a complex caseload.
