Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant - VeloSource

VeloSource has a Neonatology/Perinatology Opportunity open to NP/PA's in Peoria, IL.

• Active IL state license required (willing to accept provider needing to obtain license)
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Minimum # Years Experience: 1
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS
• Coverage Need Details: In-house Neonatal ICU coverage 7p-7a nightly, no call
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 10
• Providers Typical Day: Manage a team of patients that can range from 15-20 neonatal patients in a 12-hour shift
• Required Procedures: Competent at umbilical line placement, central line placement/Peripherally inserted central lines, arterial line placement, intubation, newborn resuscitation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement.
• Must be confident/competent with newborn resuscitation and stabilization for high-risk deliveries.
• Travel Covered: Mileage (Personal Vehicle); Airfare; Lodging; Parking; Rental Car & Fuel; Ground Transportation
