Job Details
MUST LIVE IN THE CHICAGO AREA AND BE OPEN TO HYBRID
Utilize your extensive background as a controller in a family office setting or managing records for high net worth individuals. Take charge of overseeing a dynamic team responsible for the following key functions:
Daily transaction processing
Recording and reconciling investment activities
Managing unfunded commitment schedules
Executing month-end closing processes
Generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for both companies and individuals
Collaborating closely with the tax family office group to support the preparation of tax returns, including 1065 (partnership), 1040 (individual), 1041 (fiduciary), 990/990PF (foundations), 1120 (corp./scorp), 709 (gift), and 1099s
Conducting thorough reviews of responses to Federal and various state notices
About You:
As a crucial member of our team, you bring the following qualifications and attributes:
CPA License is mandatory.
Familiarity with Intacct is advantageous.
Possess a progressive track record of at least 8 years, concentrating on family office and high net worth individuals, managing assets ranging from $50 million to $1 billion.
Demonstrated proficiency in leading a team dedicated to servicing high net worth individuals and family offices.
Daily access to a vehicle for commuting to and from offices and client locations, as needed.
