Family Office Accountant
The Family Office Accountant will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting operations across a multi-entity structure, including but not limited to general ledger accounting, A/P & A/R, financial reporting, managing compliance, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Post transactions and maintain general ledgers
- Own all period-end account and bank reconciliations
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, and produce financial statements for all entities
- Assist and support budget and forecasting activities
- Organize information flow to and from third parties (e.g., outside investments, external tax provider)
- Gather vendor information and prepare form 1099s
- Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience, family office experience preferred
- CPA a plus
- Experience in the small business or startup environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well both independently and as a team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
