About the Job
Our client, a state-of-the-art cardiology practice located in Manhattan, is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP). The Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care will perform a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up and outcome evaluation.

Responsibilities:
- Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.
- Initiates, documents and communicates the plan of care and follows-up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.
- Write orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.
- Interpret laboratory and test results.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York
- One year+ of experience is highly desirable
