As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating our patients. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and continuous primary care to patients of all ages, including routine screenings, health risk assessments, immunizations, and preventive care.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, respiratory diseases, and infectious diseases.
- Prescribe and manage medications and other therapies as per patient health needs.
- Provide health promotion, disease prevention, health education, and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in family medicine and nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Valid DEA license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Proven experience in family medicine, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Strong knowledge of the principles and practice of family medicine, including the diagnosis and treatment of common acute and chronic health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
