Job Details
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Nurse Practitioner to work 32 hours a week in our clinic. This is a permanent position in the Medical industry, where you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver the highest level of care to our patients. This role is not just about treating illnesses - it's about fostering health and wellness, educating patients, and making a profound impact on the lives of your patients.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct patient care services, including diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health problems.
2. Carry out physical examinations and preventive health measures within the prescribed guidelines and instructions of a physician.
3. Record patient's medical history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in patient's Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
4. Prescribe medication following the patient's condition, severity, allergies, and potential drug interactions.
5. Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals as needed, including providing referrals.
6. Educate and guide patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.
7. Understand the patient's health condition and maintain a holistic approach to patient care.
8. Develop a patient-focused practice that is fully compliant with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Nursing.
2. Current licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
3. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
4. Proficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
5. In-depth knowledge of family medicine and patient care.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a team approach to patient care.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in high-stress situations.
8. Ability to work independently, while also collaborating effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
10. Strong ethical and moral character, with a deep commitment to patient care.
