As a per diem Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference in an underserved community and impact the development of the primary care services. An established practice, with a robust group of four Physicians, and with the newly renovated clinic on the first floor of the hospital. Highlights about the practice:
+ Schedule: Per Diem call coverage as needed: 1 weeknight call per week (variable) and every fourth weekend Friday - Sunday.
+ Clinician must live within 30 minutes of St. John Medical Center or stay on campus or locally while on call
+ Birthing Center offers 12 spacious private suites, two large C-section delivery rooms, two post-partum/recovery rooms, an enlarged family waiting area, and a special care nursery
+ Clinic: 14 exam spaces, seeing up to 20 patients per day, 1:1 Medical Assistant, and EPIC EMR
+ On-site: Medical Social Workers, Dietitians, Clinical Pharmacist, Diabetic & Palliative Care Specialists, Phlebotomists, Behavioral health support services, In-house Controlled Substance Management and Chronic Care Coordination Teams
