Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to our attorneys in all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, custody, child support, and other related matters.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, manage and organize case files, and maintain case lists.
- Assist in the preparation and review of financial disclosures, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals to schedule and confirm court dates, meetings, and consultations.
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the firm's reputation by handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews, providing valuable insights and suggestions to improve client service and team efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, preferably in Family Law or matrimonial matters.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification is highly desirable.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Solid understanding of legal procedures and terminology related to Family Law.
- Passionate about Family Law and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.
