Family Law Legal Assistant/Paralegal - Adams & Martin Group

We are working with a dynamic and well-established family law firm in the Bay Area, seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Legal Assistant/Secretary to join this team. This role is essential in supporting multiple attorneys with a range of administrative and legal tasks while ensuring the smooth operation of the office.

• Prepare and format legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and agreements.
• File documents electronically and in person with local courts, ensuring compliance with deadlines and court rules.
• Manage attorneys' calendars, including scheduling court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Organize and maintain client files, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• State court e-filing
• Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant case information when needed.
• Provide general administrative support such as answering phones, ordering supplies, and managing correspondence.
