This role will provide the opportunity to handle complex and challenging family law cases, while working with a team of experienced attorneys in a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, including divorce, child custody, alimony, domestic violence, and other family law matters. This position requires a high degree of client interaction, court appearances, and the ability to handle cases from inception to resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of family law cases from inception to resolution.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda on various family law issues.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.
- Develop and implement case strategy in conjunction with the client's goals.
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.
- Demonstrated knowledge of family law and court procedures.
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
