Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, domestic violence, and property division.
2. Provide compassionate and result-oriented legal advice to clients, keeping their best interests at heart.
3. Draft, review, and file all necessary legal documentation related to family law proceedings.
4. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their comfort and confidence throughout the legal process.
6. Collaborate with legal team members, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the efficient and effective management of cases.
7. Stay updated on the latest developments in family and divorce law to provide the most accurate advice and representation.
8. Adhere to all professional and ethical standards set by the legal industry.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney or in a similar role.
3. Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
4. Proven track record of handling family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support.
5. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and disputes amicably.
6. Strong drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with clients and maintain professional relationships.
8. Strong knowledge of family law and court procedures.
9. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in family law.
