Job Description:

Chicago law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join their team.   The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, support matters, and property division.  Work-from-home opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and property division.
• Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Negotiate settlements and work towards amicable resolutions.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage case files from inception through resolution.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in family law.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle a high caseload and work independently.
• Compassionate and client-focused approach.

Compensation:

• 100k-125k DOE
