Key Responsibilities
- Legal Research on various family law issues
- Drafting and preparing legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery requests, etc.)
- Assisting attorneys with trial preparation and overall case management
- Client communication to ensure timely updates and strategy discussions
- Organizing case files and maintaining documentation per firm protocols
- Professional communication with court staff, opposing counsel, and other parties
- Representing clients in settlement negotiations, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
- At least 5 years of experience as a Family Law Associate
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting
- Strong knowledge of family law procedures and local court rules
- Litigation experience and a proven ability to represent clients in the courtroom
