Family Law Associate - Gpac

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Attorney to join our client’s reputable law firm. As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal matters related to family law, including divorce, child custody, adoption, domestic violence, and other related issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert legal advice and guidance on family law matters to clients.

2. Handle all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, adoption, paternity, and domestic violence.

3. Conduct legal research and analyze laws, regulations, and legal precedent to build strong cases for clients.

4. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and contracts.

5. Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations.

6. Negotiate settlements and facilitate alternative dispute resolution methods to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

2. Active license to practice law in New Jersey

3. Minimum of 4+ years of experience practicing family law.

4. In-depth knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and legal procedures.

5. Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.

6. Empathy, compassion, and the ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations.

7. Small portable book of business preferred, not required.
