Duration of Role: 1 years
Pay: $45.16 - $50.00 / hourly
Hours: This will be a variable shift position with overtime likely. Candidates need to be comfortable working all shifts based on production levels. They will train on 1st shift before moving to the off-shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide on-site shop floor support for production critical Factory Automation solutions and equipment that require quick response to guarantee uptime and productivity.
· Be responsible for changes to control logic and software including, but not limited to: relay ladder logic, PLCs, HMIs, and PC based logic.
· Provide electrical designs within applicable standards to build new, or modify existing, production machines and systems.
· Create and maintain interfaces for communicating with shop-floor tools, PLC controls, SCADA, and MES systems
· Work with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Factory Automation Leads to ensure manufacturing and standardization goals are achieved.
· Support off-shift maintenance to troubleshoot machines and systems which may include electrical and mechanical issues.
REQUIRED:
· 2-year degree in Engineering
· Electrical or PLC programming experience/background
Seeking recent grads from the following programs:
· Northeast Iowa Community College – Advanced Manufacturing program
· Northwest Iowa Community College – Industrial Instrumentation and Control program, Industrial Commercial Wiring program, Electrical Technology program
· Hawkeye Community College – Industrial Automation Technology program
· Indian Hills Community College – Electronic Engineering program, Electromechanical program, Robotics program
· Kirkwood Community College – Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics program or Automation and Instrumentation program
Additional notes:
Will need metatarsals for first day, business casual dress code. No travel associated with this position. Person may drive a Deere owned Gator after successfully completing training.
