Job Title: Environmental – Facility Support
Job Summary:
This position will support the EHS team in the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Premier Finishing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Receives paint and makes sure it is tested prior to putting it into trailers. Labels material for pass/fail.
- Quarantine any non-conforming materials and reports to purchasing.
- General shipping/receiving helper for banding, staging, loading, and unloading.
- Keeps inventory of masking supplies and tape orders as necessary.
- Environmental Daily Walk of facility
- Perform facility inspections.
- Ensure proper disposal practices are met and report any noncompliance.
- Communicate with customers as needed.
- Provide daily guidance and direction in EHS programs at the employee/supervisor level to ensure a common and effective approach.
- Participates in detailed incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
- Maintains relevant logs and documentation.
- Ensure inspections by regulatory relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Have knowledge and enforce compliance of regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA, Cal OSHA, EPA, SJAQD, City of Stockton, San Joaquin County, etc) including company policies and procedures.
- Ability to oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance (i.e. labeling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc).
- Perform other work-related tasks as required and assigned by the General Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Facilities maintenance: 1 year (Required)
