Job Summary
The Facilities Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects, which
have a beginning, an end and specified deliverables. The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for overall
project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical
direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The Facility Project Manager responsibilities span a
broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management like -- Project Planning, Cost Management, Time
Management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, and Safety Management.
What you will do
• Leads project management efforts by defining the project scope, identifying necessary resources,
establishing a budget, and creating a detailed schedule. Staffing the project may involve collaboration
with contractors, architects, and engineers, as well as coordination with clinical staff and infection control
to meet project requirements and timelines. The project manager ensures that all policies and
procedures are followed, monitors the budget and schedule, maintains project records, reviews work
quality, and evaluates the project's overall outcome.
• Performs a full range of leadership responsibilities which include but limited to; interviewing, hiring,
coaching, and development of employees; managing performance and any performance issues;
planning, assigning, and directing work; encourage innovation, teamwork, fiscal responsibility, high
quality work, and a positive/productive work environment.
• Works closely with the Director of Facilities & Support Services to maintain accurate, up-to-date records
of space utilization and square footage documents.
• Collaborates with department leaders to develop construction capital requests and creates detailed
budgets for furniture and artwork. Coordinates with the marketing team on all signage projects and
contributes to the development of the annual department budget.
Education Qualifications
• Technical Diploma In construction management or related field Required
• Associate's Degree In construction management or related field Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree In construction management or related field Preferred
• High School Diploma and/or GED In lieu of post-secondary degree/diploma, applicant can have a high
school diploma plus 8 years relevant work
Experience Qualifications
• 1-3 years construction experience which includes one year of construction supervisory experience

• Capable of assisting in the implementation of process changes.
• Capable of operating standard office equipment including utilizing pertinent software applications
• Ability to form work/patient relationships with patients and peers
• Skilled in reading and interpreting plans and specifications and to compare them with construction
progress
• Capable of reviewing and interpreting highly technical information and write technical materials
• Able to independently problem solving to analyze issues and create action plans.
• Problem solving with data requires analysis based on organizational objectives; and problem solving with
equipment is significant.
• Fosters teamwork through effective written and verbal communication

• Ability to prioritize work and meet changing demands
• Ability to handle and process confidential information.
