Responsibilities:As a Facility Manager/Building Transition Manager with MTSI you will assist as the, facility manager, safety officer, space manager, emergency manager, vehicle control officer, logistics manager and security lock/key custodian.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects facilities, reviews reports and advises personnel concerned.
- Assists in preparation of policy/SOPs/guidance for the operations, maintenance and construction of projects for the ICO campus facilities.
- Projects ongoing costs of maintenance requests for building alterations resulting from known organizational and mission changes.
- Meets with contractor personnel to assure their understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Monitors effectiveness of the plan, and conducts drills, and coordinates with fire and installation and local emergency authorities.
- Establishes procedures (key control and electronic as applicable) to close and power down unused classrooms and offices in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Serves as technical representative during requirement forums such as 35%, 65% and 95% design reviews, interior decorating and furniture layout.
- Serves as a Technical Representative during furniture fit-out.
- Services as technical representative on small projects such as installing small mechanical equipment, whiteboards, desks and office equipment related items.
Requirements:
- 10+ years specialized experience assisting in the management of a commercial office building (or equivalent non-housing high rise building) consisting of building mechanical system (i.e., HVAC, electrical, structural, grounds maintenance, alarm systems, elevators, etc.)
- Must have knowledge of safe use and operation of basic tools, such as electrical meters, measuring devices, ladders, power tools, mechanical tools and hand saws..etc.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Facilities Management Certificate (FMC, CFM) or other industry certifications.
Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI required.
