OTA is seeking to hire a Facility Manager to be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and coordination of facility systems and infrastructure. This role requires knowledge of facility management best practices and involves close collaboration with base Civil Engineering (CE) and vendors to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise equivalent to a Certified Facility Manager and experience with facility management systems and maintenance coordination.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

OTA is seeking to hire a Facility Manager to be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and coordination of facility systems and infrastructure. This role requires knowledge of facility management best practices and involves close collaboration with base Civil Engineering (CE) and vendors to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise equivalent to a Certified Facility Manager and experience with facility management systems and maintenance coordination.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Apply facility management concepts and methodologies, with knowledge equivalent to a Certified Facility Manager or similar certification
- Maintain comprehensive facility diagrams, including but not limited to:
Electrical Systems, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Cabling, Floor Plans - Access and utilize work order and ticketing systems to manage facility maintenance requests
- Request Civil Engineering (CE) support by opening tickets through systems like CE Helpdesk, Tririga, NEXGEN IT, or the current real property CE helpdesk
- Escalate tickets as necessary and coordinate with CE for emergency work orders
- Monitor and inspect facility generators regularly
- Coordinate any required maintenance or repairs with base CE or an external vendor
- Monitor and inspect the Uninterruptable Power System (UPS) and battery backups
- Arrange maintenance as needed in collaboration with base CE or an appropriate vendor
- Inspect and monitor facility HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
- Coordinate maintenance activities with base CE or an external vendor when necessary
- Coordinate and obtain approval from the Base Civil Engineer for any alterations to facility real property, in compliance with AFI 32-1001 para 7.1.4
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs
- Coordinate with base civil engineering or vendors for maintenance of facility components, including but not limited to: carpet and floor tiles, walls and cabinets, breakroom and bathroom fixtures, electrical fixtures and lighting, doors and other structural elements
