We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-skilled Consulting Facility Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals who are passionate about utilizing their expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance. The successful candidate will be a key figure in ensuring our manufacturing facility is running smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are integral to the success of our operations. These include:
1. Conducting regular inspections of the facility's plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
2. Performing necessary repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
3. Implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
4. Collaborating with other team members and departments to prioritize and schedule maintenance and repairs.
5. Assisting in the development of safety protocols and procedures related to facility maintenance.
6. Providing technical guidance and advice to the management on the best practices in facility maintenance.
7. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
8. Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in facility maintenance and applying this knowledge to improve our processes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Consulting Facility Maintenance Technician, candidates must have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
3. Proficiency in equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
4. A deep understanding of electrical systems.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
9. Relevant certifications or qualifications in facility maintenance or a related field would be advantageous.
