DESCRIPTION
Oversee and execute maintenance tasks for facility equipment, focusing on HVAC, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance. Manage a team of technicians, prioritize work orders, and ensure safety, compliance, and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coach maintenance technicians, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Coordinate work orders, prioritize maintenance activities, and manage preventive maintenance programs.
Perform and oversee HVAC repairs, system adjustments, and general facility upkeep.
Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and work orders.
Collaborate with contractors for repairs and renovations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work culture.
Stay current with industry standards, trends, and technologies.
Participate in an oncall rotation for emergencies and perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Two year technical degree or five years as a Maintenance Supervisor
Four year degree in engineering, construction management, or business management.
Skills
Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in software like Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred.
Spanish proficiency preferred.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Flexible to work varied shifts, weekends, and emergencies.
