FACILITY MAINTENACE - Spherion

Spherion Staffing has an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician to fill a role for a manufacture in Cheney. In this role you will be performing all equipment and building/maintenance functions including but not limited to, repair and renovation of physical plant; and the repair, maintenance, calibration, and/or fabrication of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Responsibilities:
1. Assists in constructing fixtures, equipment, and/or equipment modification for use in company operations.
2. Experienced knowledge of machinery, plumbing, carpentry, painting, welding, and electrical tools; including specialty tools as required for plant operations, maintenance, and repair.
3. Inspects plant machinery and mechanical equipment for defects, necessary repairs, etc., including troubleshooting and identifying problems; and reports information to management.
4. Dismantles machines or equipment to gain access to defective parts and performs repairs using hand tools and/or specialty equipment.
5. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearing, gears, pulleys, and/or other parts of machinery to provide regular maintenance and upkeep of machines and equipment.
6. Measures, cuts, and installs pipe and tubing for gas, water, air, steam, and hydraulic lines using hand tools and/or specialty equipment.
7. Repairs equipment within the plant and must be able to problem solve.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Working hours: 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM

Skills:
Plant machinery maintenance experience preferred

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must have high level of problem solving skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft products: Excel, Word, Outlook
