JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Facility Field Technician in a care management company, you will be responsible for onboarding, providing on-site technical support, and facilitating smooth operations related to patient monitoring, care management devices, and equipment in healthcare facilities. The Facility Field Technician plays an essential role in bridging the gap between technology and patient care by ensuring the proper deployment, functionality, and support of care management devices in healthcare facilities. Their role combines technical expertise with patient interaction and support for care management processes to ensure smooth care delivery, effective use of monitoring systems, and optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Educates patients and caregivers on the services provided at Vitability Health
- Coordinates the logistics of care management technology with the clinical team and other healthcare professionals
- Installs, sets up, and performs routine maintenance on remote patient monitoring devices and other care management equipment in facilities and at patients' homes providing technical support when necessary
- Monitors remote devices, collect data, and escalates any issues with data transmission to the technical or clinical teams
- Collects and records vital signs remotely and manually
- Ensures all devices and equipment meet the required regulatory standards (FDA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Documents patient interactions and support provided, ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations
- Maintains accurate records of inventory, equipment setup, maintenance, and repairs
- Serves as the point of contact for patients and facility staff, providing prompt, courteous, and professional service
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, HHA, or PCA
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
- A high degree of professionalism, compassion, and respect for patient privacy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work a 9am-5pm schedule
- Experience with Medicare patients
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Bilingual English/Russian a plus
