Facility Control Specialist
Job Duties:
+ Work on Siemens building HVAC control system programming and components for manufacturing and clean rooms
+ Work on manufacturing area Life safety systems related to hazardous gas detection and Oxygen monitoring, etc.
+ Work on other control systems related for the various facility systems associated with RO/DI water, gas, bulk chemical, wastewater treatment, HVAC, life-safety, and other systems.
+ Perform system troubleshooting, modifications, configurations, updates, and other required work on Siemens Apogee and Desigo control interface systems.
+ Perform system analysis, improvements, and design.
+ Work with vendors and technicians to troubleshoot and problem-solve control system issues.
+ Create logic for program design, simulation, testing, and startup.
+ Develop, plan, schedule, and manage capital projects from inception to completion.
+ Coordinate work with other Engineers, Drafters, Technicians, and individuals in other functional groups.
+ Recommend alternative solutions to management in area of expertise to meet business needs.
+ Build and Integrate SCADA system screens and alarms
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience working with control systems in a manufacturing facility.
+ Demonstrated project management experience working with multiple entities (both internal and external).
+ Ability to prepare control system commissioning plans and lead implementation.
+ PLC programming knowledge and experience is required.
+ Knowledge and ability to read control schematics.
+ Able to thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented environment.
+ Experience using precision measuring instruments, diagnostic tools, and computer skills to collect data, run tests, and analyze results.
+ Strong computer skills, including CAD experience.
+ Successfully acquires new technical skills and process knowledge over time.
+ Must demonstrate understanding of applicable electrical safety regulations.
+ Familiar with applicable codes and best practices like NEC, NFPA 101, NFPA 70E, IEEE, etc.
+ Strong team work and communication skills.
+ Experience with Siemens Apogee and Desigo building control systems
Preferred Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
+ Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi PLCs
+ Working knowledge of Ignition SCADA systems
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and safety procedures. Must be able to work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Kneeling, bending and crouching positions, as well as the lifting of parts and use of hand tools in such positions, may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America.
