Facilities Technician at Adecco

Adecco is currently seeking numerous Facilities Maintenance Technicians [Direct Hire] in Rochester, NY. To be considered for this Facilities Maintenance Technician position, candidates must have a minimum of 2-years previous direct experience in facility maintenance environment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance and repair of an adult living facility. This includes performing routine inspections, handling minor repairs, assisting with preventative maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and grounds are maintained to meet the standards of comfort and safety for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Technician:

·       Perform minor repairs on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues related to lighting, changing filters, landscaping, and painting.

·       Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment to reduce the risk of breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.

·       Assist residents with maintenance-related requests within their living spaces, including changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, or minor appliance repairs.

·       Assist in the maintenance of exterior grounds, including snow removal, landscaping, and minor repairs to walkways, parking lots, and outdoor facilities.

·       Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and maintenance schedules. Track and report inventory of maintenance supplies.

·       Work collaboratively with other facility staff and the Facilities Manager to prioritize maintenance tasks and respond to urgent requests.

·       Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment used in facility maintenance, such as power tools, ladders, and HVAC equipment.

Requirements of the Facilities Maintenance Technician:

·       High school diploma or GED

·       2+ years of experience in facility maintenance.

·       Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems are a plus.

·       Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments, including outdoors.

·       Must be able to pass a background check and have valid motor vehicle driver’s license.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
