Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintaining each location and all maintenance required.
- Duties such as HVAC inspection, painting, mudding, sanding, plumbing, electrical and the efficiency of each location.
- Small repairs, responding to work orders, as well as excellent customer service between staff, vendors, and clients/families
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain each location of Blue Lakes Behavioral Health.
- Daily visual and periodic written instructions for various building areas, established schedules, and business standards
- Maintain a clear line of communication with management in deficiencies or defective areas within your assigned work area
- Perform all duties assigned by management related to workings of Blue Lakes Behavioral Health
- Requisition of supplies and materials as needed
- Setting up and tearing down of office equipment, toys and other items.
- Assist Director of Operations with inspecting new buildings for expansion of BLBH.
- Discussions with various cities and pulling of permits if required.
- Must meet deadlines in opening of new facilities.
- Assist Director of Operations coordinating schedules with contractors, tradesmen, and vendors
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required 2 years of custodial experience in a commercial building preferred Ability to work outside in all types of weather Must be able to handle routine maintenance of buildings and grounds Must have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and in a group environment Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite Must exhibit professional appearance and behavior Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Physical Requirement
- Ability to lift and maneuver independently up to 50 lbs. required
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting standing) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to sit on the floor or stand for periods of time
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid Michigan’s Driver’s License
