What you will be doing:
The Facilities Technician will ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment. Utilize technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and implement cost-effective solutions that meet the facility's needs. Leverage deep knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to deliver reliable and sustainable facility operations for our clients.
Is this job for you?
- Perform routine lab operations including troubleshooting, maintaining, tracking, and documenting laboratory equipment and associated services in CMMS.
- Configure, maintain, and respond, as necessary to equipment alarm systems.
- Manage and complete service requests and perform/oversee equipment preventive maintenance/repairs, maintain associated spare parts.
- Complete work in timely manner to maintain site KPIs.
- Assist with new lab equipment onboarding.
- Assist with reviewing, writing, and optimizing procedures.
- Maintain safe, organized lab space, general lab housekeeping.
- Maintain consistent and accurate internal and external communication.
- Support site Facilities and Utilities projects as necessary.
- Actively support researchers and lab personnel to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction related to enabling cutting edge research and development of cell and gene therapies.
Who you are:
- Associate's degree in related field
- Up to 1-3 years of experience in a related field
- Prior experience with laboratory techniques and equipment preferred.
- CMMS experience, Blue Mountain preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted, work on feet for extended periods.
- Must be able to work independently and in group settings with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective use of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, CMMS (Blue Mountain).
- Passion for providing best-in-class customer service.
- Strong attention to detail.

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $26.40 hourly in our lowest geographic market up to $ 37.59 hourly in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
