What You’ll Do:
- Maintain Office Spaces: Keep the office looking its best by performing light carpentry, patching walls, touching up paint, replacing ceiling tiles, changing light bulbs, and hanging décor.
- Support Events and Office Setup: Collaborate with the Sr. Office Assistant on office recognition events and set up meeting rooms so everything is ready for smooth collaboration.
- Coordinate Maintenance Needs: Conduct regular building inspections, identify maintenance needs, and schedule contractors as needed, while also keeping an eye on costs.
- Manage Office Supplies and Deliveries: Keep supplies stocked, assist with incoming deliveries, and maintain inventory for everything from café supplies to maintenance essentials.
- Oversee Outdoor Areas: Ensure outdoor spaces are well-kept by managing lawn care, plowing, light snow shoveling, and parking lot upkeep.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all company safety standards while assisting with emergency maintenance requests and necessary compliance inspections.
What You’ll Bring:
- Hands-On Experience: Previous experience in general maintenance, basic construction, or light carpentry; familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC basics is a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage time and inventory effectively.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, comfort with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and a professional, courteous attitude toward colleagues and guests.
- Independence and Reliability: Resourceful, proactive, and capable of making decisions to solve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating equipment safely.
Work Schedule:This is a full-time, hourly role with weekly pay. Regular attendance and reliable transportation are essential.
