The National Intelligence University (NIU) run Master's degree programs in support of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Your work will support University operations, to include the Office of the President, Institutional Effectiveness, Registrar and Enrollment Services, Office of Outreach, and Office of Research. You'll work to improve student knowledge and mission outcomes through the instruction of a wide variety of Master's programs at a DoD academic institution.
Your Responsibilities
• Maintain facilities, logistics, and security at the National Intelligence University (NIU) Bethesda campus
• Coordinate and implement a wide range of projects and activities
• Monitor security and student resources pertaining to University projects
• Maintain day-to-day operations of facilities, such as submitting and coordinating work requests and maintenance orders with the facility support teams
• Respond to any issues with a status within 24-hours of notification
• Track and monitor work requests through completion
• Coordinate facility support and logistics tasks as needed
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior areas of NU, to include but not limited to, conference rooms, classrooms, pantries, hallways, and common areas
• Assist in preparation of classrooms and other areas as needed for events as situations require
• Provide access to cleaning and sanitization supplies throughout the university and replenish as needed
• Coordinate and schedule university cleaning and burn bag disposal efforts
• Assist in updating and implementing standard operating procedures, policies, and/or protocols as needed for facility issues
• Provide assistance and scheduling of routine inspections and repairs by outside vendors
• Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with team of security professionals
• Provide reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences as needed for the operation of the university
• Collaborate with facility management and provide to NIU management information affecting facility's needs as might effect budgeting
• Assist in organizing storage spaces and maintaining accurate inventories of items on hand
• Initiate proper disposal of excess equipment and/or supplies with other NIU staff and facility logistics personnel
• Assist with inbound and outgoing deliveries as needed
• Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
• Research and recommend improvements for better practices in the logistical operations of the facility
• Provide assistance with ad-hoc events and activities as needed
• Ability to drive government vehicle as needed
Your Qualifications
• Experience with DoD educational and training programs
• Background in intelligence and facility oversight
• 5+ years of program management experience preferred
• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph REQUIRED
