As a team member in our Building Operations Department we offer a competitive wage range of $22.50 to $24.50 based upon experience and in addition to your hourly rate we offer:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate response to emergency requests for facility and equipment repairs.
- Work with Leasing Manager and Accounting to insure proper processing of lease paperwork
- Oversee clearing of snow and ice from parking lots, entrances and sidewalks.
- Makes sure property is kept safe for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
- Ensure maintenance of all mechanical related infrastructure. Performs required tests and keeps required logs if required
- Keep building plans and blueprints filed in proper order
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly organized and stored
- Track facility work projects both unfinished and completed.
- Maintain orders and picks up the appropriate supplies needed for repairs and renovations.
- Request assembles and analyzes contract bids, submits bids and recommendations to Corp Director for action.
- Track facility repair and utility costs with spreadsheets and graphs. Evaluate and submit cost reduction ideas to Corp. Director.
- Oversee contractor repairs as needed.
- Inspect common area restrooms as needed and ensure all are in working order.
- Perform mandatory safety tests. Makes sure necessary safety inspections by outside contractors are completed as required. Maintain proper records.
- Use Core 7 to ensure scheduling of preventive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain repair records and prepare related reports.
- Create project timelines and research expected costs.
- Perform minor appliance, equipment and facility repairs as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance work areas are clean and organized.
- Coordinate with Environmental Services management to ensure that buildings are kept clean and maintained, both interior and exterior.
- Ensure carpets and tile floors are properly maintained.
- Orders supplies and ensures that supply closets are stocked.
- Oversee painting, remodeling and building repairs.
- Maintain a property list of tools and equipment.
Required Experience:
3+ years' experience with building maintenance or construction or custodial supervision or experience which provides a similar skill set Previous property management experience a plus.
