Facilities Maintenance Technician - Starting at $28.00/HR at Plastipak Holdings

At the Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Victorville Manufacturing location you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property. You will also make adjustments to both mechanical and electrical repairs to the machines and equipment within the facilities.

You will:

• Working knowledge of auxiliary industrial support equipment, including but not limited to: Chillers, Compressors (high or low pressure), Towers, Air Dryers, Pumps, etc.
• Perform general repair and regular maintenance of industrial air compressors with greater than 500 horsepower motors.
• Functional knowledge of general building and ground maintenance, including but not limited to: 120/227V electrical, lighting, plumbing, and painting, etc.
• Have a working knowledge of fire systems (monitoring, inspections, testing), facility access systems, emergency lighting system, etc.
• Maintain and enhance auxiliary equipment by completing preventive maintenance, monitor performance and making adjustments as needed
• Participate in installation projects and/or modifications.
• Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.

You Have:

• 2-year degree or prior work experience with certifications on relevant disciplines.
• Fabrication experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Basic computer skills
• PLC Programming Knowledge is a plus
