Facilities Maintenance Technician/Stand up Forklift Operator at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established electric manufacturing company in the Garner area who is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician/Stand up Forklift Operator to join their team. This is a contract to hire position working 6:30am to 3pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic facility maintenance tasks, including but not limited to painting, minor plumbing, general cleaning, and equipment upkeep.
• Operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts for transporting materials, tools, and equipment around the facility as needed.
• Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Work with the team to ensure a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Support additional maintenance projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor. 

Requirements:

• Candidate must have experience in facilities maintenance
• Candidate must have experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Candidate must be comfortable lifting up to 50+ lbs. as needed, and stand for long periods of time
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug test and background check
