Facilities Maintenance Technician - Swan Lake Resort

Swan Lake Resort is looking for an individual to performing routine repairs, maintenance operations, general carpentry, and the upkeep of the hotel, hotel property, restaurant, pro shop, and academy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel.
• Ensures that preventative maintenance procedures are carried out on a scheduled basis and completes maintenance records for equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• General building maintenance and repair of building equipment (i.e. refrigeration, heating, electrical, and plumbing equipment).
• Installation of new equipment as necessary.
• Ensures that all work ordered is completed on time and according to quality standards.
• Inspect, maintain and clean hotel's exterior areas, the swimming pool, whirlpool/spa, and parking lot
• Report all hazards Maintenance Manager and proactively monitor the workplace for potential hazards.
• Maintains tools, workspaces, equipment, and property exterior to assure cleanliness
• Utilizes basic hand and power tools required for general maintenance.
• Respond to individual guest needs and concerns.
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
• Minimum 1 year experience - Maintenance Procedures
• A background in carpentry and general construction preferred (installation of doors, windows, roofing, siding, etc.).
• Must be able to keep records of inspections up to date and organized.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and works well in environment with time constraints.
• Able to work flexible schedule including holidays, weekends or longer than 8 hr days if needed
