Overview:
Performs general facility maintenance including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, general cleaning, sanitation, courier services as needed, performs duties of mailroom clerk including receives, sorts, delivers, processes courier items, interoffice mail, magazines and all classes of United States Postal Services (USPS) mail and items from FedEx, UPS, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of how to operate an automobile
- Ability to navigate using maps and locate physical addresses on a map
- Knowledge of local traffic laws
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Perform finish carpentry, touch up painting and drywall patching
- Maintains the physical facilities through a structured program of preventive maintenance
- Uses and operates a variety of hand tools, electrical and mechanical
- Maintain and clean grounds, parking areas, etc.; remove ice and snow etc.
- Receives, sorts, delivers, interoffice mail, magazines and all classes of United States Postal Services (USPS) mail and any FedEx, UPS etc. packages or distributions.
Education and Experience:
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Active work, requiring lifting up to 50 lbs
- Inside and outside climate, climate-controlled working conditions, occasionally working in outdoor elements
- Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation
