Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Foreman II to oversee and perform a variety of maintenance and construction tasks on buildings and facilities. This role involves hands-on work in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other trades, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 years of experience or formal training in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities

Construction & Building Maintenance

• Oversee and perform tasks related to construction, renovation, and maintenance projects, including demolition, framing, drywall installation, flooring, and finishing.
• Use hand and power tools for tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and erecting scaffolding.
• Follow blueprints, sketches, and instructions to ensure precision and quality in all construction activities.

Maintenance & Facility Inspections

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities citywide to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building systems as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures, utilizing PPE and ensuring safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in all construction and maintenance work.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist skilled trades professionals, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for all work completed.
