Lifetime Products is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician. This candidate will perform highly diversified duties role is responsible for the upkeep of all Lifetime facilities and structures within the Clearfield Freeport Center, inside and out. You will be tasked with performing highly diversified duties to keep the facilities in good condition, while following all safety policies, practices and procedures. Successful candidates will be dependable, a self-starter, highly motivated, proactive, and organized with the ability to multi task, take direction, and stay calm in a high stress environment. Some Saturdays and overtime will be required based on business needs.

Duties and responsibilities for this position are as follows:
- Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings, replaces such parts, as needed. Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines and equipment. Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.
- Bends, cuts, and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
- Clears clogged drains, and replaces plumbing fixtures.
- Operates welding machine to repair or join metal parts.
- Replaces lights, lens covers, installs parking signs and poles.
- Performs asphalt, concrete and epoxy floor repairs.
- Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
- Performs minor demo of existing structures, walls, ceiling, floors etc. Sheetrock patch paint and texture
- Be able to complete installation, repair, and do basic dock leveler repair on garage doors
- Install corrugated steel walls from start to finish including purling, J-channel, and sheeting
- Fabricate hand and guard rails
- Install electrical outlets, switches, and motors
- HVAC - Change filters, pads and copper and poly tubing water lines, Replace pumps and winterize units.
- Adjust, program and replace stats. Remove, clean and reinstall AC wall units. Ignite pilot lights.
- Trouble shoot and repair heating and A/C units, gauge A/C equipment to check charges, hang unit heaters, install duct work and run flue pipe for HVAC systems, install equipment in accordance to state mechanical codes, and complete sheet metal work
- Performs landscaping jobs as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a drug screen
- Valid Utah's Driver's License and a clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Overtime may be required, including some Saturdays and some flexibility with hours
- Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to work with little supervision.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with tools and landscaping knowledge.
- Proficient computer knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Related Facility Maintenance experience in one or more of the Duties listed above.
