About the Opportunity
The Facilities and Maintenance Manager (Team Leader) oversees all daily operations and personnel related to the maintenance, repair and installation of Company machinery and the upkeep of the Company's property and facilities. The role works collaboratively with multiple parties to ensure that the Company's objectives are being met.
What You'll Do:
- Manages and oversees daily operations related to maintenance, facilities, and security; prioritizes and coordinates projects interdepartmentally; acts as facilities point person for any construction and renovation projects
- Leads maintenance department, which includes recruiting, training and development of employees; scheduling, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance and addressing employee issues
- Researches and administrates all outside service contracts related to maintenance, facilities and repair
- Reviews, approves vendor invoices and updates expense report for Accounting
- Manages and updates preventative maintenance program (PMXPERT)
- Supports multiple departments during periodic inspections conducted by agencies (e.g., AQMD, CUPA, fire, ISO, NADCAP, etc.)
- Responsible for security alarm system and responses to alarms
- Helps to troubleshoot and provides system support to production and manufacturing departments for equipment and computer issues
- Participates in quality, safety and customer audits; implements necessary action items in response to audit findings
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- 4 years of maintenance experience in a PCB manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of preventative maintenance software
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy; high level of organization
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
- Proficiency with manufacturing tools, parts, equipment and materials
- Proficiency with technology (e.g., Office 365, ERP systems, etc.)
- HAZOPER Certified
Education and Experience:
- Manufacturing equipment maintenance experience in PWB/PCB manufacturing environment (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
- Electrical background with certificate or license (Preferred)
- Air conditioning repair experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of post-etch equipment and ProCIM
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds; as well as, twisting/turning, reaching over shoulder/head, reaching outward.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
