Job Summary
- Oversee the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the facility's physical infrastructure, equipment, and utilities.
- Lead the effective execution of all preventative maintenance processes and assigned work/projects within the plant
- Optimize predictive preventative maintenance, spare parts, scheduling and performance
Major Responsibilities
- Support the development, control and tracking of maintenance inventory budgets
- Coordinate for all repairs, products, work schedules and meetings
- Administer the PM PDM program and parts room inventory for all equipment, building and facilities through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Perform analyses to determine the root cause of critical and repetitive equipment failures
- Analyze equipment history and the line event data system to identify specific failures
- Oversee the parts room to ensure adherence to company policies, availability of necessary parts, elimination of obsolete materials and adjustment/optimization of stocking levels
- Manage the planning/scheduling of maintenance work using the work order system and CMMS; coordinate equipment availability/resources
- Establish work measurement techniques and determine the effectiveness and improvements needed for the maintenance department
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings & equipment
- Plan & implement building upgrades and renovations
- Facilitate communication with contractors and vendors
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs
- Maintain equipment and facility documentation/drawings
- Provide support for assigned projects, troubleshooting and day-to-day activities
- Communicate with Operations teams and vendors regarding equipment issues and capital projects
About You
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
- Experience: 5 years technical experience in maintenance/manufacturing or trades industry dealing with preventative and predictive maintenance. Knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing & lighting.
- Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of Environment Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS
