About the Job
Toyoda Gosei Fluid Systems (TGFS) is looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team!
Responsible for developing cost-effective strategies and systems to improve safety, environmental impact and facility conditions. Provide technical coordination and support on plant capital projects including justification, design, and installation.
Core competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Education:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of ISO14001 environmental management programs
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all team members and external parties
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of Building Maintenance Management systems and software
- Experience with CO2 reduction through optimized processes and renewable energy sources
- Knowledge of facility energy management strategies for electrical, HVAC, compressed air, etc.
- Must be result-driven
- Strong business acumen required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be highly organized and have strong planning skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and balance priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively communicate with team members from all levels and departments of Toyoda Gosei
Major Accountabilities:
- Must demonstrate behaviors that support TGFS’ mission, vision, and core values
- Track and coordinate facility PMs to ensure on-time completion
- Identify process improvements and cost-savings for PMs
- Coordinate installation of electrical and utilities
- Support new program equipment installation
- Ensure compliance and safety with fire suppression system
- Coordinate external services such as plumbing, HVAC, building & equipment repairs, etc.
- Planning and implementation of production requirements
- Handle facility waste management, including oil removal
- Complete environmental audits and reporting, including quarterly storm water audits, EPI reporting, etc.
- Lead and coordinate all activities related to facilities/maintenance of building and grounds
- Manage building alarm system including testing, coordination of emergency preparedness portion of system
- Complete routine inspections of facilities and follow up on findings
- Any additional duties as assigned by manager
