JOB SUMMARY AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This position is responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris and keeping areas neat and tidy for all offices, buildings, venues and restrooms on property.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
I. Clean buildings and restrooms for all venues on property. Daily duties to include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying and replacing liners of trash cans, use of cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces, clean mirrors, glass partitions, windows, etc.
2. Perform laundry duties to include sorting, pre-treating, washing, drying, pressing and hanging.
3. Assist facilities team in other projects as needed
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
I. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, and two (2) years of work experience in janitorial services.
II. Ability to interface with customers and create a warm, friendly and welcoming presence.
III. Must be able to work well with all levels of employees and with guests.
IV. Requires a high level of attention to detail and communication skills.
V. Requires high energy and a self-starting ability.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS:
I. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
II. Must be able to talk clearly and hear responses.
III. Must have the ability to receive detailed information through hearing and to make discriminations in sound.
IV. Must be able to stand, walk, crouch, and climb stairs.
V. Must be able to reach, grasp and finger objects and operate business and cleaning equipment.
VI. Manual dexterity required for keyboard functions, and repetitive motions.
VII. Minimum visual acuity requirements include reading numbers, printed instructions and video display terminals.
VIII. Must be able to exert weights of up to ninety (90) pounds of force on an occasional basis, and twenty (20) pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
IX. Employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
