Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Location: Rockville, MD
Type: 1 Year Contract
Hours: Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM
Job Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator oversees procurement of equipment, hardware, and software, manages approvals and asset tracking, and ensures efficient facility operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement activities for equipment, hardware, software, and vendor services.
- Submit and track procurement requests (PRs) in SAP, ensuring timely approval and PO issuance.
- Monitor and track delivery schedules and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Obtain certificates of insurance from vendors and maintain updated records.
- Issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Perform regular building walkthroughs
- Organize and maintain the Facilities department's drive file and update electronic file systems and Teams sites
- Track metrics and relevant information using Microsoft Excel
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in procurement, facilities management, or a related administrative role is preferred.
