About the Job
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lithia Springs Resort. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the resort. Your primary goal will be to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. You will work closely with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent future problems. This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in a related field, such as HVAC or electrical
- Experience working in a hospitality or resort environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs and air filters
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes
Skills:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your expertise in plumbing, precision measuring, drywall, mechanical repair, mechanical systems, carpentry, electrical wiring, and ladder climbing on a daily basis. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all systems are functioning properly and that any issues are addressed promptly. Your problem-solving skills will be critical in diagnosing and repairing complex issues, and your attention to detail will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. Additionally, your strong communication skills will enable you to work effectively with guests and staff to address any maintenance concerns.
