Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has a need for a Facility Asset Specialist within our Center of Excellence in Asset Management Group . This is a remotely based position with substantial responsibility supporting projects across the country. The preferred work location is Alexandria, VA., but candidates can also be located near the Data Centers in Ogden, UT., San Antonio, TX., Mechanicsburg, PA., and Columbus, OH. This is a hands-on position, requiring a strong technical background and a proven track record maintaining mission critical assets for Federal Government Facilities.

Job Title: Facility Asset Specialist (DISA)
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Ensure the accuracy, validation and labeling of all assets, and their condition, and record in the CMMS and / or any other electronic systems required by our clients. Must be familiar with and comply with each individual program / project standard that this position supports.
+ Work with CMMS team members to configure and implement changes in software programs both client and company owned.
+ Ensures quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and greater programmed preventive maintenance for electrical and HVAC systems is properly sequenced and documented in the form of an annual work plan. Must be familiar with and comply with each individual program / project standard that this position supports.
+ Responsible for providing support for electrical and HVAC outages/repairs from the perspective of assisting in the development of method of procedure (MOP) / Switching procedures as requested by site-based Project Manager.
+ Responsible for validation and management of all critical system / asset documentation (i.e. operating manuals, preventive maintenance procedures, MOP library, other asset and system related documentation).
+ Support site-based maintenance teams (Electrical and HVAC) regarding 24 / 7 site-wide and after-hours electrical distribution issue resolution and major HVAC projects / repairs. Primary function is to serve as a subject matter expert in terms of providing vital information regarding system configuration and operational input based on site-specific knowledge. Requests for this support will be directed through the Project Manager and approved by the COEAM Director.
+ Provide the 2nd level validation / quality control of electrical medium and low Voltage systems repairs and preventive maintenance as requested by the site-based Project Managers and approved by the COEAM Director.
+ Recommend operational improvements and communicate with site-based Project Managers and COEAM Director regarding changes in condition of all critical electrical distribution systems and HVAC systems / assets as necessary.
+ Trend and advises site-based Project Managers and COEAM Director regarding recurring asset discrepancies and actions to correct based on site surveys and observations.
Qualifications:
+ Active Secret Clearance required.
+ 7 years’ experience working in a technical field (Electrical and/or Mechanical trades).
+ 3 years’ experience working in critical environments such as a Data Center.
+ Understanding, experience, and knowledge in working with CMMS systems.
+ Understanding of concepts and practical experience with Planning / Scheduling / Estimating, Preventive Maintenance program development, and Reliability Centered Maintenance Philosophy
+ Understanding of Condition Assessments
+ Comprehensive understanding of blueprints (Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire/Life Safety)
+ Position may be deployed to individual sites for extended periods of time as required to meet contractual requirements.
+ Experience working on Federal Government Contracts is a plus
