PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Fabricator to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Pinellas Park, FL. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
The HM is looking for those with mechanical experience, who can work from print and can use a computer. They said that candidates with experience working in sheet metal do well i.e. auto body repairs, boat repairs. They are looking for somebody who uses hand tools, can read B/P, calipers, protractor, tape measure, high gauge, scale ruler, sheet metal forming skills such as bending, stretching implemented by shrinking tools, dies and punching, air grinders, able to follow all safety guidelines, follow all policies and procedure, be able to stand for long period of time, work with minimum supervision and also work with team members, problem solving skills, mechanically inclined and at least 3 years minimum of related skills.
- Heat Treat- Able to work in hot and cold environment, able to lift more than 20 pounds and stand or be on their feet for long period of time. Sets up, operates heating equipment such as heat-treating furnaces to temper, anneal metal and operates age hardening oven. Record times from furnaces to document that metal have attained specified temperatures for specific time.
- Cell 15- Experience working with Band saw, chop saw, table saw, drill press, hand drill, hand router, roll form machine and able to lift more than 20 pounds and stand for long period of time.
